The game against Liverpool will be shown live at the Blue Room, with a 10am Kick Off.

Please note there is a $10 cover charge to watch the game.

Kaunas game: Will NOT be shown

There is no live transmission of the game arranged in North America. Therefore, the Big Apple Bears cannot bring you live coverage of the game at the Blue Room.

In the event that this changes nearer the game, this website will be updated. Please check back again close to kick-off to be sure.

We will have the Liverpool game on Saturday. More details will follow later in the week.

Big Apple Bears Charity Match

The Big Apple Bears have arranged a charity 8-a-side match with the NYC based Liverpool Supporters club. The match will take place on Tuesday, July 22nd with an 8.45pm Kick-Off.

The match will take place at Pier 40. The pitch is located on the main level (the courtyard) at the west/rear (nearest the river). Pier 40 is located on the Hudson river at the end of West Houston street. Please come along and show your support. If you have any Rangers banners, please bring them. We will be taking some photo's for use by various media outlents, including the Rangers News and the Rangers website. Many of us will be turning up at 8.15pm to arrange photo's etc.

The charity selected by the Big Apple Bears and the Liverpool supporters is Downtown United Soccer Club, who provide soccer programs to youths in New York City. Details of the fundraising can be found on our Raffle page.

The upcoming charity 8-a-side game has been featured in the latest issue of the Rangers News. A PDF copy of the article can be found here.

We also expect to be mentioned on the official Rangers website and in the official match programme for the friendly between Rangers and Liverpool on August 2nd.

Rangers v Shalke 04 will be shown live at the Blue Room on Saturday. Kick-off is 10am.

There will be no cover charge for this game.

As its the first game of the new season, we would like to let our visiting guests from overseas, who may not be familiar with the practice, know that it is customary to tip bartenders in the USA.
